I've had a lot of people suggest I take Reliv products through the years but I always declined the offer.
Today a nice lady told me that her and many others take Reliv products, Olive Leaf Extract from Ameriden, Agrisept(tangerine, lime, lemon, grapeseed extract) and Living Streams Liquid probiotic. She said that all have gotten really good results.
We had a nice exchange. Yes, I was skeptical. What do you think? Anybody got well on Reliv?

- A link to each product will help. That way, the ingredient list is clear.
----------------------------
I took Reliv years ago, early on before I knew I had lyme. It was nice and an energy boost but did nothing to address the problem. I still wound up bed-bound for a full year.
For Olive Leaf Extract, I'd go only with SEAGATE one of the same quality. I can't about the other brand until I see the ingredient link.
SEAGATE does ship to Austria. I just called to check.
- better to find a LL ND (naturopathic doctor) for any herbal or nutritional advice. -

- From the speakers listed at the recent ILADS conference in Austria, I know you have a LL ND (or similar degree) in your area - somewhere. If not close, call and ask if they know of a LL ND or herbalist near you.
Some of the "how to find" links below may not apply to your country but the articles and books still offer great detail all over the world.
When considering herbal / nutritional / adjunct methods:
if at all possible - because each person & each case is different - it's best to consult with an ILADS-educated LL (lyme literate) doctor who has completed four years of post-graduate medical education in the field of herbal and nutritional medicine -
- and someone who is current with ILADS' research & presentations, past and present.
Many LL NDs incorporate antibiotics (depending upon the licensing laws in their state). Some LLMDs and LL NDs have good working relationships.
When possible, it's great to have both a LLMD and LL ND and even better when they have a long-standing professional relationship.
Integrative / Holistic M.D., etc. (Be aware that those in this category can have various levels of formal herbal &/or nutritional education, perhaps even just a short course. Do ask first.)
Links to many articles and books by holistic-minded LL doctors of various degrees who all have this basic approach in common:
Understanding of the importance of addressing the infection(s) fully head-on with specific measures from all corners of medicine;
knowing which supplements have direct impact, which are only support and which are both.
You can compare and contrast many approaches.
BASIC HERBAL EDUCATIONAL & SAFETY links,
BODY WORK links with safety tailored to lyme patients,
& WHY you need an ILADS-educated, Lyme Literate Doctor (whether LLMD or LL ND, or both) -

- Agrisept is something that I've seen others write of here. You might search in the archives:

Again, amazing Keebler. Thanks so much for supplying all this info.
I'm saving it for further use.
I've practically heard that Reliv can cure everything.
That said it all for me.
I also had a bit of concern about the soy since it's become a controversial issue.
Thanks for the info on the LLND in Austria. I'll check and ask my LLMD here as well.
My LLMD shared with me that he's very interested about what a few ILADS doctors are doing with Alternative herbs and therapies.
He named a few of them who I had met and spoke with at the conference.
One well known one is in my native California.
He just honestly told me that his main protocol also incorporates Abx, but it sounded like he would be supportive in helping if I wanted to go a more herbal route.
So, I get the impression he doesn't mind working with others along the ILADS line.
He was at the ILADS conference although I didn't see him.
@lymetoo-thanks much. I found the 2 links in the archives and they pretty much matched my concerns.

- If you post links to the exact products you question, we can look at the ingredient list.
It's hard to counter someone who is nice and promises the moon -- but just tell them that your doctor handles your treatment, and even supplements need to be very specific.
Just looking at Reliv Classic, at their main site, it took a very long time and a lot of looking to find the ingredient list.
Truth in Labeling.org offers information on monosodium glutamate (MSG), a hidden ingredient used in the processing of soy protein isolate.
It includes a link to "Industry Data and Monosodium Glutamate Toxicity" by Adrienne Samuels, Ph.D.
The article cites soy producers' use of processed free glutamic acid, a component of MSG, hidden in the list of ingredients of food products, including soy protein isolate, as a serious health concern contributing to problems such as cardiac irregularities. . . . -

- Thanks for the other links.
I would not take that OLE, it has additives in it. The Vegetable Cellulose & Rice Powder used as filler can contain questionable chemicals, especially since not stated to be organic.
SEAGATE OLE has nothing added at all. Link and details in the OLE thread above.
They are also VERY careful with how they HANDLE the leaves, that really matters. Most OLE products are not careful at all with the leaves. -
