Not sure if this has been posted yet. Some say it is historic, I think it is a leap into the right direction, but don't think it's gonna really change much. It's going to take time before we see some major changes as this bill was mainly funding for research.
I mean the people who are in charge is the CDC right? They are probably the ones going to be in charge of doing research... We know they are bias from the get go, so how can we expect change? Maybe there'll be different group of people in charge of doing research, keeping my fingers crossed.
Would be nice to see this on the TV!!!!

Let's hope that it is a step in the right direction. I was really impressed with Chris Gibson at the Skidmore Lyme Forum. He gets it! He will likely see through some of the barriers to valid research and medical care - and keep on fighting for us. Let's hope so!

- "Passes Appropriations Committee" - would still then have a few more hurdles but, hopefully, it's on its way.
That does mean it still has to go to the house and then to the senate, right?
I just hope the IDSA is not put in charge of this research! -
