Thanks. I needed that.
I hve been putting a towel around my neck to cover up the fact I am not wearing a bra....so this item will help with that also.
I can't handle having rings, watches, etc...and bra's on since lyme and company

kam, you are welcome! I get really hot this time of year from Babs. This towel stays cool for hours. I am impressed with it especially for the price.
I hope you like it too!

I got mine today and couldn't figure out why it wasn't cool. For some reason the brand I got said run it under warm water...
My wonder son mumbled something about salt and water and a bunch of other science related info. He got out a bowl and put ice water and salt in it. He put the towel in the bowl, left it for a few minutes, and it was nice and freezing. Great!
He also said he had two of these in the garage which he had used to wash his car. Guess something similar was sold for car washing. Wouldn't want grease streaks around my neck!
My question is, can you leave it in fridge to stay cold?

Dogsandcats, when you first get this it needs to be washed with mild dishwasher detergent.
Before using, you do wet it with warm water. Seems weird I know, but it works. It will get cool and will stay cool for hours. If you want it cooler, rinse it again. You do not keep it in the refrigerator. If you are not using it, store it in the container it came in.
The material seems similar to a shammy for car washing, but it is not the same.
I hope it helps you!
