You're coming home. Your journey isn't over. Just maybe, this testing will lead to some help.
Just enjoy the short nap.
+++++ thoughts coming your way.

Lax mom- I will be sure to say an extra prayer for you tonight as well, to help give you strength and courage for your procedure tomorrow and Thursday.
It sounds like you have prepared yourself mentally by educating yourself about these procedures-that is half the battle making sure you have all the info.
And docs tend to thrive with the "curious" cases. So if they are curious about your bile duct, then you know they will be extra careful.
I will ask God to spare you from an infection this time around.
You will be fine. Posts: 4358 | From British Columbia, Canada | Registered: Jun 2013

I'd take 30% risk rather than 70% as good sign. Something tells me you will be ok....and home before you know it.
One thing I've learned through this journey is that I refuse to be scared of tests anymore. I'd be in such a state of fright....then it turned out to be nothing or something they can fix, I SWORE I WOULD NEVER BE SCARED AGAIN UNTIL RESULTS ARE IN.
We end up using so much energy worrying and 9 times out of 10, it's less scary than we thought.
Just from my heart to yours...and you got those prayers heading your way!

Hi guys!
I made it through. Thank God. Thank you all for your prayers.
I found out my liver, spleen and pancreas are all inflamed. They did a spleen and liver biopsy and sent off bile for culture. My stomach and small intestine have ulcers (I had no idea).
My common bile duct was closed tightly, so they did a sphincterotomy and put in a temporary pancreatic stent.
Hopefully, with my bile duct draining properly I can now make some headway with treatment.
I'm just exhausted and a bit nauseated. But I'm sure that is to be expected.
Thank you all soooooo sooooo much for the prayers and positive thoughts.

Well, I'm glad you found this out.
Maybe it will help treatment.
I wonder why everything is inflamed? The infections?
Get some rest.
