woohooo!! Mine was 14 once. It would be interesting to see if it's higher now that I'm well.

Hi Lax,
We've struggled for years with that darn NK cell number. DD's numbers were 5 for the longest time. I seem to remember the NK count going up to 8 or 9 and felt, hey it's progress...
Until I had my own NK count checked and it was in the thousands, yep, THE THOUSANDS. Apparently I was at the beginning of a UTI and all cells were put on high alert. You'd think with Lyme and all the coinfections that all cells would be on high alert too, but I guess it doesn't work that way.
Haven't had any of our NK cell counts checked recently. Hoping that LDN and Immunotix will help boost the counts. I forget...are you on those or anything like them?
And curious too if you have high EBV titers? DD's titers are STILL very high despite prescription and natural anti-virals. I wonder if this has anything to do with the low NK counts.
Just think, in a few years we might very well have a PhD or MD degree with all this research we've been doing.
