Hi <<<<< LymeNet Family >>>>>,
It's me, 'Wolfi, feelin' like Kousin Klutzo of the Southwest.
The easy chair I was moving [clumsy-awkward to move, but normally easy to slide]caught on a loose linoleum tile.
It has a round swivwl base, it acted like a car jumping a curb, unfortunately my toe was the curb.
Big toe,on right foot, is way swollen, and black and blue and lavender all the way around. I've been keeping it elevated. It is painful and hard to walk.
The other foot was finally starting to heal from a sprain this summer, our little dog, decided to play 'super-dog' and jumped up on the end of my new bed [head and legs raise and lower, to help my breathing.].
So the left foot had been re-sprained, Tuesday night when doggy jumped up ,and hit the ankle. I have my air casts on, but it doesn't do much for my big toe [rt. foot had an old mid foot sprain that doesn't heal].
Rt. big toe, is gently bandaged to second toe, which is slightly bruised between, but nothing like big toe.
Aaarghh, evidently I shouldn't be alone for five seconds. TxC' was in the kitchen when I got injured last evening, getting ready to fix supper. He got some ice and pain meds for me, as soon as he could.
I am glad he was home, I shrieked rather loudly upon injury, and I think his ears are probably still recovering.
Thanks to each replier, for prayers, hugs and commiserations.
Jus' Silverwolfi of painful paws, staying off me paws as much as possible.

Ouch! Ouch!
Best to keep off your feet for a week or so...
Especially until the toe returns to normal-ish size and color.
Ouch!
Your dog and my cat must be trying out for the same circus act! Haha. Always jumping up at a bad time.

Hi <<<<< Lymenet Family >>>>>,
My Rt. toe and upper foot ,jus' looks really ugly, feels that way too.
It is turning black under the toe,and in between...top just under big toe,is a weird lavender and gray.
The lft. foot that Muad'i' doggy got to, mostly quit swelling on the outer ankle...now the inner ankle is puffing up.
Sometimes I think my Ya Ya friend Milly had it right when she said we should bind me in soft cotton wool [like for bandages], and make a face opening w/ a straw.
Doggy looks at me forlornly when I tell him he cannot get in my lap. He can tell I haven't been feeling very well, but I can't let him make it worse.
I knew he could jump, but I didn't realize he'd try from the end of the bed. LOL, about the circus act, Greta', if we could have cats here, they'd have probably played high jump too.
We're having IP server issues, and they'll come this afternoon, to change out stuff yet again, so we may be off line for a bit.
We'll check in when we're able, it never rains but what it pours,as we are having car problems too.
My dad once mentioned something about an old radio program ' The Perils of Pauline'..., perhaps this is a bad dream and they're going to use it for an episode???
Aww well, we still have a roof over our heads, food to eat, a good church to go to, and LymeNet when our IP server is working and we can get on the net. So we're surviving, and sometimes we even get to have a little fun.
Altho' I am contemplating, inventing foam and bubble wrap boots,to protect me paws... sigh!!!
I wanted to were my nice fuzzy suede sweater sock 'bear-paw' boots, but my paws are too swollen... OwooooWhooowooo. I mus' nap now for a bit...Zzzzzzz
Silverwolfi zzzzz owoozzz

I use the homoepathic remedy symphytum 200c but 30c will work 3 to 4 x day. I broke my toe two days before i found out I had lyme. I forgot to take the symphytum with me when I went to the city to see the doc and it was hard to pay attention due to the pain. Symphytum really helps with the pain of broken bone.

Hi <<<<< Lymenet Family >>>>>,
Computer is sluggish right now [ IP servers feel it is interference, most likely illegal, and hard to catch ].
Carmen, thanks for the info, my knowledge of homeopathy is very limited at this time. I'll have to check on this when I can get out.
Jane thanks for the commiserations! It's still swollen painful, and the bruising continues to spread. And like the proverbial sore thumb, the toe seems to get bumped very easily.
We have a high winds, and folks w/ breathing problems stay indoors advisory here right now. And I am pleasantly surprised to still have power at the moment.
I'll check back later if we still have power, and low to no interference for online.
Jus' Silverwolfi, hiding my tender paws

Jus' me, Hello <<<<< LymeNet Family >>>>>,
I'm still of black and blue paw [big toe] and surrounding area]. It's painful yet, so haven't gone anywhere I don't have too.
Tomorrow we must get a couple things for our Anniv. wknd so will be using Txc's wheelchair.
Monday we'll have been married 3 and a half decades, so trying to make the best of the tender foot/paw. Txc' has been planning for awhile for us .
I was hoping that things would be more healed up, but will just be extra cautious, and enjoy our weekend!!!
Just wanted to update a bit.

<<<<< Lymetoo, and any other Lyme Folk reading >>>>>,
Thanks for the Congrats' Lymetoo, Awesome,so y'all have been married 4 decades, that is wonderful!!!
As a Christian, I didn't figure we'd still be on earth by now, I tho't the rapture might come first. It is truly an interesting time to be alive!!!
Course ,I wish my toe and foot weren't all bruised up and still painful, but I'll be resting a lot this weekend/early-part-of-week. But that'll heal up ... soon I hope!!
Off for now, gotta take care of some errands [I'm still learning to use the wheelchair, and for some reason my depth perception seems off, don't want to hurt more toes...]
