Kindly think about this notion for one moment.
What better way to demonstrate to both the still largely IDSA-affiliated mainstream medical community and the general public at large (who sadly, through little fault of its own, is still grossly under-educated and misinformed about Lyme/tbd's) that Lyme and other associated tick-borne diseases are extremely important (worth worrying over/a very big deal), than by pushing Dr. H's book to the top of The New York Times National Best Sellers List?
The greater the number of books that folks and friends like us can purchase, the better. Just think of all of the chatter/noise/attention that usually accompanies a book that lands on this acclaimed sales chart; and especially, sits at the top?
And, let's also bear in mind the power that national media attention can have on our cause. Wasn't it only weeks after the CDC went public with their revised Lyme case numbers when Katie Couric taped/aired her segment on Lyme?
So, what do you say that we try to make this a reality, fellow suffering Lymies? With our inherent stick-to-it-tiveness, if there's any group that can do it, than certainly it is us! A real bonus, is that the holiday season -a perfect time for gifting or receiving Dr. H's book- is nearly upon us!
Let's do this! Let's be the ones responsible for launching, 'Why Can't I Get Better'...to the top of The New York Times Best Sellers List!

Bought 2. Wish I would have gotten more. The more popular it becomes, the more recognition it gets and no better way than dr. H. to get his message across to everybody. Took him 4 years getting research together to do this. It's upto us. Even if one person bought 1, look how many members there are.

The book that has helped me the most so far (bought 4 different books to start), is Dr. S's The Lyme Disease Solution.
Although I am in principle against use of antibiotics if possible, which are covered in part of this book, all the processes involved in how the various treatments work including alternative therapy and herbals, have been spelled out in scientific detail.
Scientific while understandable. Which is very helpful to me, as I do take actions I do not understand.

Hi, LymeNet friends. Thank you so much to those who took the opportunity to respond to this post!
Are you all enjoying Dr. H's book as much as I am? It is an incredible read, no doubt! But- would any of us really expect anything less from this stellar Doctor?!
Hopefully, the book is making its way into both our hands, and into those who are currently a little more disengaged from the Lyme community. I still envision tremendous gains for our cause if we are able to push Dr. H's book onto the New York Times Best Sellers List. I wonder how many of us could attempt to get copies of the book into the hands of folks like: spouses/partners, family members, relatives, friends, acquaintances, medical practitioners of all type (would include Lyme-friendly/aware and otherwise!), politicians, civic leaders/organizations, religious and spiritual advisors, teachers/school administrators, library/media staff, etc., etc., etc.?
I am very hopeful that by each of us doing what we can (by way of advancing book sales), we will ultimately be helping Dr. H 'help us.' And I couldn't think of a more perfect way to advance our cause!
Thanks again -so much!- for hearing me out!
Best, Told you...
