I’ve had a turkey living in my yard for months, we named him/her Kevin. Well it’s not a Kevin because she had babies about a month ago. She had 9 and only lost one, so I have Mom and 8 baby’s.

There a pain in the ass, all over the lawn, in my flowers, digging holes – and I’m sure dropping Ticks everywhere.

Now I have a baby duck living in my house (in a tub), the mother left him/her a couple of days ago.

Eating very good, swimming like a duck (loves to swim), lets us hold him/her.

He/she goes from bathing under a sunlamp to diving in the pool. Won't eat unless the food is in the water, I think they like it soft.

Between the turkeys, groundhogs, birds, Chickmounks, hawks, foxes, deer’s, bobcats, rabbits and a ton of other animals living in my yard, I’m in Tick haven. O- did I mention I have conservation land all around my house!!!! I’m moving next year…

Has anyone ever taken care of a BABY DUCK? Here some fun photos…

You need to get a couple of guineas to eat the ticks!

Awwwwww, that baby duck is so cute! Ducks are very sweet. I prefer them to chickens.

Awesome pics! We have turkeys too. They are so cute. I think they eat the ticks as well.

That baby duck is adorable! You are such a good soul to take care of it! :)

Hi Steve!

LOVED the pics!

The baby duck is SO SO cute! When I was a kid, a neighbour had a pet duck. I guess ducks are hypoallergenic.

Yes, totally agree...with a zoo like you have, just add some guinea fowl to round out the zoo and eat up all the ticks.

Wonderful photos Steve! Thanks for sharing! I have never taken care of a duck but I know people who have had them as pets!

My sister used to have a family of turkeys in her yard. They would bring their babies year after year. They are quite entertaining to watch!
