Ok, I know this is dangerous territory here. I know I am probably setting myself up for more frustration.

This appointment was set up in Jan, before my lyme dx. I was to see this dr. for CFS. My appointment is next week. I kept it b/c I know she specializes in lyme. However, I was always warey b/c of the prominent boston hospital she works in, and some of the reviews I have read.

I have heard from someone on this sight who had heard good things about her. Which was encouraging. I had also heard from another person, good things as well. That she may be able to help me get iv's and would work with my current dr.

I know that things could go either way. Esp b/c my labs are not cut and dried. I think if they were glowingly positive all around for lyme and co's it might be different.

I am a person who will of course over react in a situation, and hear one negative think, in my mind and run with it. Even if the rest of the visit is productive...

I am so distrustful of the major hospitals in boston at this point. I have such anxiety when it comes to them. Though I have not had an issue at this one yet.....

now that this has turned from a cfs appointment to lyme, I figured, maybe she could have something to add.

Does anyone have any feedback from experience or things they may have heard from others? I just need to prepare myself mentally for this one.

Since we like to protect the doctors, I think it is best if people pm you with any feedback -

Also, have you asked your online state Lyme chat site? It's at http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/massachussettslyme - ask to be added

You might also want to post this in "Seeking" and title your post, "Need Feedback on Dr. F in MA".

Check with the local Support Groups:
www.lyme-aware.org/massachusetts.html

They would probably know more.
