So, I'm wondering if anyone has more information about this guy who is trying to develop a Lyme vaccine. It says his son has Lyme, so I'm wondering if this could be a real vaccine rather than solely capitalizing monetarily. Anyone know more about this?

Sheesh, I wish someone would figure some things out. This disease is horrible--that word doesn't seem to do it justice.

Lets hope some legit people are making headway.

It's not the place to be putting our hopes. I would most absolutely never suggest to anyone for whom I cared to ever receive a vaccine for lyme. Many reasons for that. So many reasons. History and also the complexities.

Lyme Patients Angered Over New Vaccine

by Tina J. Garcia, Founder, Lyme Education Awareness Program (L.E.A.P.)

18th October 2013

Excerpt:

. . . The denial of chronic Lyme infection in the IDSA Guidelines causes patients to question Lyme vaccine development.

Acknowledging chronic Lyme infection would extend the time needed for vaccine clinical trials and approval. Stating that chronic Lyme infection doesn't exist and sweeping suffering patients under the carpet is one way to avoid this problem.

Why the focus on a vaccine instead of expanded treatment protocols, studies of congenital, blood transfusion and sexual transmission and correction of the vaccine-friendly Dearborn two-tiered testing criteria? . . . .

Collateral Damage: How the Lyme Vaccine Made a Life Less Ordinary

LymeRix was not pulled from the market due to poor sales as those in charge reported. One brief look at the real truth below. Even if a new vaccine may (or may not) have substantial differences, trust issues are a major matter for a group who will not even acknowledge what really happened before:
