Happy Easter! May God's blessings of the resurrection shine on you.
Come share your moments of exercise for the week. Are you gardening, walking, vacuuming, doing laundry? Anything and everything counts!
Have a great week!

I had a quiet day at home and ate leftovers for Easter dinner. I did break out the dark chocolate, though.
I watched the National Cathedral Easter service.
I did one load of laundry and raked out the sewer grate at the bottom of the drive. Getting rain and a chance of snow tonight. Went to recycling center.
Yakked with my brother and then my mother on the phone.
I woke up very sore from all the exercise of the past few days. So, I am resting my body the rest of the day.

Speaking of Bible study, I need to get mine finished for tomorrow. We are studying the book of Acts. It’s really good.
I have been cooking and cleaning. That’s about it. We got snow last night but I never saw it. Too warm to stick. It was on the radar several hours.
Still need to do my taxes. Pray for me to get my butt moving!
Stay safe, everyone!

Working on sewing face masks to keep ahead of the demand. I have 30 finished ones and 24 almost half done.
I have 125 out to sell or sold. A friend called yesterday to ask if I'd help her if she gets overwhelmed with requests. She started sewing for an employer who needs to supply his employees with masks.
We have sunshine today - doing laundry. It rained yesterday and is supposed to again tomorrow.

Hiker thanks for starting our exercise thread for the week!
Things almost back to normal for me after the unwanted excitement in my neighborhood.
So I've been busy with storm clean-up and repairs of window frame and wall.
Been doing jigsaw puzzles for fun and reading.
That's about it for now.....

Manna—I could use an additional facemask so I could rotate them. Lol
I posted on the next-door website that I had a lot of board games to give away and they are all gone now. Glad they could go to a family that needs something to do during this pandemic.
I went to physical therapy for my knee today and we worked out a schedule for all of my therapies at home.
AK-I have a jigsaw puzzle that I need to open up and get to. Once I get started on them I stay up almost all night just to get them finished and I need to go slowly to make them last.

Hiker, that was a great idea on the board games! A blessing to many!
Manna, you are making me wish I had kept my sewing machine two years ago.
Ok. ... back to my Bible study.
Take care, AK!! ❤️❤️

Took Mom to Ft Benning to pick up her RX and also to get groceries at the commissary. Then dropped off a few things at Josh's.
Treated myself to a gluten free pizza and Josh got a regular one. Watched one episode of the Trekkie spin off 'Picard', which I really enjoyed then came back home.
Manna I know you're busy sewing away! Sure is wonderful that you're providing a much needed new fashion accessory.
Hiker I can sit here all day putting a puzzle together. It's not a good thing though because I get so stiff. Truth be told, I'm a puzzle junkie too!
TuTu finished up the repair work and Mom did the staining and painting of the couple of spots on the frame and wall. Hope and pray that it's a one time deal.
Well....off to play a computer seek and find game.

I woke up to about an inch of snow on the ground but it is already melted. Sadly we are looking at more tomorrow night.
I did my shoulder exercises, my balance exercises, and my knee exercises all today.
Spent way too much time exercising my vocal cords on the phone with friends.
I am ready to relax and read tonight. I am on my last library book but the libraries are still closed here.

Have a stack of masks ready for the elastic & top stitching. That's what I've been doing today.
Also gabbed on the phone awhile...
Rained during the night, but had sunshine all day. Still rather chilly, so coats are needed.
The grass is growing, the boys need to get the mowers ready to run.

For exercise today I took the curtains down and washed them and Mom and I hung them back up. It was one of the things she wanted me to help her with.
Outside of that and working on another puzzle just gabbed on the phone like the rest of you all.
Hiker I can't believe that you all had snow! I'm finishing up a library book that I downloaded to my Kindle. It's a murder mystery and I've enjoyed it so far.
Manna I've been busting butt trying to get grass to grow in my Mom's much neglected lawn. This will be my fifth year living with her and after much pruning, raking and watering some grass is growing where there was only sand. My next step is to put out some topsoil this year. Keep your fingers crossed!
OK gang it's 12:30 and think I'm going to call it a night.

I had Bible study via Zoom today.
I went grocery shopping. So many new rules--only one person per family can go into store, one way aisles etc. Still no chicken and no spinach, but got every thing else. Finally bought TP but they sure are price gouging.
Yakked on the phone with a friend. Good to stay connected.
Hope you have a great evening.

Today I went and picked up a few groceries and worked on a puzzle. Talked away on the phone this afternoon which really perked me up! Sometimes isolation gets to me so it was wonderful to visit over the phone.
Tomorrow I have to go back to the same grocery store and pick up my RX. So much for going out only once a week.
Hiker I had the same one way traffic at my grocery store!
TuTu our Home Depot is only letting 10 people in at a time. I heard the line was outrageous!
Off to finish watching Sweet Home Alabama.

Had two boxes of masks ready to go this morning. Daughter to 40 along to work and I took 30. Sold all of them.
Went to buy more lining fabric - got 5 yards, should have gotten more by the way these last ones went! Have some requests for black ones for the men. I also have navy and a brown with dark brown lines in it. Hopefully its manly enough.
So, I shall stay home from work tomorrow and sew!
Ak, I think adding some topsoil will really make a difference in the grass growing in the yard.
Oh yes, we had flurries today. The wind was rather cold, though looking outside, it looked nice since its green & the sun was shining.

MannaMe--You mean the mean don't want the flowery designs for masks?
The snow bypassed our town and we only got flurries and rain. Areas northwest of me got almost 10 inches. Hopefully this is the last winter storm.
I did my shoulder and balance exercises this morning.
I worked on my Bible study.
I went to physical therapy this afternoon for my knee. Increased some weights and added some exercises. Getting stronger ever so slowly.
Governor announced schools will remain closed for the rest of the spring. Illinois added over 1800 cases of Covid19 yesterday so I don't think we are coming off of "shelter in place" soon. Maybe the southern part of the state can open up earlier than the central portion and Chicago area.
Am going to be a couch potato tonight. Miss getting together with friends, but am thankful for technology that keeps us in touch. And when it warms up they can come over with their lawn chairs and we can sit far apart and talk.

Talk about being a slug today....just worked on my puzzle. Sat outside for awhile and watched my Mom put some type of clue coating on my completed puzzles. I might use them for place mats.
My pharmacy is running behind and didn't get my usual call that my RX was ready so might go tomorrow.
Manna way to go on all the masks! Thanks for the encouragement about the topsoil. Sure hope it works!
Hiker you're doing so good with your therapy! I've just been sitting around today and have a bit of fatigue. Hope tomorrow I have more energy.
Well....off to make a tomato, cucumber, avocado salad to go with our dinner of pre-made chicken wings and smoked gouda mac and cheese.
See everyone tomorrow!

Today was mask day! Daughters, Hubby and I were working at them most of the day. I wash them after I finish sewing them. Have them in the washer now. Didn't get a count of them......... but its a LOT!
Cold today. Sunshine this morning then turning cloudy. The boys burned some trash, twigs and branches from cleaning up the yard and trimming grape vines.
The goat had her kids today - a boy and a girl. Daughter has been waiting and waiting for this event. So glad it was on her day off. She's been texting me at lunch time asking if I checked on the goat??
I'm tired tonight.... good night!

MannaMe--Will you keep the kid goats? If I remember correctly you had some last spring as well?
Cool out this morning but I walked 30 minutes in the sunshine. Love the crisp clean air.
I did my knee exercises this afternoon.
Then went to the ATM and mailed some letters.
I did some cooking and one load of laundry.
Had a phone gabfest with my brother. He told me that at 4:45 on Saturdays he calls his best buddy a state away and they drink a beer together while they catch up on the news. LOL
Have a good evening.

Hiker, my daughter will keep the girl and sell the boy after he's weaned. She'd like to have about 6 milking goats and thinks she'd like to try making goats milk soap.
And, no the men don't like flowery masks! I have some in the washer and another batch in the dryer. I want to take some out to work this evening.
They only had 4 left this morning, so I dropped off the 14 I had finished. Wonder if there is any left? Someone ordered 20 and my co-worker called to say her daughter wants 13 masks.
I have some fabric to take along to cut more masks while I wait for Sonny to get the floors cleaned. Hopefully I can get a stack of masks ready to sew for next week.
My thread order is supposed to come Monday. My friend has elastic ordered which she's hoping comes Monday also. She did pick up 10 yards of white fabric for lining at $1.95 a yd!
I'm ready for Sunday - a day of rest!

Made a grocery and RX run and also stopped to pick up some gin and Grolsch beer.
Did about 4 hours of yard work. Raked and bagged some leaves in the backyard and cleared off the chain link fence from vines on the side of our yard next to a neignbor.
Their pitties didn't like my raking close to their 'territory '. Had a small canister of pepper spray just in case and yelled quite a bit at one that kept trying to jump the fence.
Aaahhh.....life in the getto!
So I'm vegging now and glad I did something today!
Manna I'm so impressed with all the masks you're making!
Hiker last night I was on YouTube looking for exercises to do. I need to keep up with you!
Well....off to eat my TV dinner!
