I guess I should report this. Is there a best site to do that?
both were found on our dog. he doesn't leave the yard. never saw this kind of tick before in my life.

On another note, I just read some research that they have found Covid-19 virus in 33% of wild deer---not the disease, but the virus.

Lisa, see my post about sulfur being a good, non-toxic tick repellant.
Maybe ask your vet if it is safe to dust your dog with for that purpose. I have no idea if it's safe for dogs. It would be great if it were, dogs can pick up an awful lot of ticks, unfortunately.
