Hiya Friends,

Well I went to the conference last weekend. I was a little impressed by the list of speakers

and Dr Jones(pediatrician)even picked my table to sit at....only my table cuz I put my stuff

there first...right up front so I could hear real well.

I believe it was the first speaker up there that was Kerry Clark Phd. M.P.H.,

assoc. Prof Epidemiology and environmental health....for the University of North Florida.....

It's official I guess according to this guy. He went out tick hunting in central to northern Florida.

Dna PCR positive for 185 Rna gene(430-bp) Cotton Rats positive 53% of those tested
Raccoons.............88%
Lizards..............57%
Glass Snake..........90%
for Bb Finds prevalence of 84% of mammals tested, positive for Bb Flagellin by DNA.

Ehrlichiosis(now called Anaplasmosis) none found
Babesiosis B. Microti none found

He only found Lone Star Ticks in Florida. Lonestari and Bb found in Lonestar ticks.

But are not recognized by mainstream medicine due to suspected DNA contamination. Because no

culture was used for specimens to be tested by DNA.???
He found NO ticks, I'll repeat, NO TICKS, that could cause an infection in HUMANS.

Because southern labs were unable to culture lyme from human specimens.

The DNA PCR Primers Published do not work well for FLORIDA PCR tests in humans.

Thus mainstream medicine does not recognize these test results.

Nice huh?

He was a breath of stagnant air!

Lesley Ann Fein MD. MPH Private practice.

In her 20 year journey in 1993 Senator Bennett-State Majority leader at that time held hearings about "NEW INSURANCE POLICY GUIDELINES"

About the same time...
SKBL came out with their Vaccine.Gee, we know how far that vaccine went and what was done for

the poor souls who were vaccinated and were given a more virulent strain of lyme disease.

GEE THANKS SKBL(smith kline beacham labs)!

I heard SKBL would'nt even give these folks medication for the disease they caused in them.

Someone was using Artificial Criteria to create guidelines, mainly elimination of species

specific bands in defining CDC criteria for their guidelines. A somewhat biased comittee did the ruling on this whole mess....

This is approximately when the lyme controversy began.

SO WHAT IS LYME DISEASE....?

What are it's three stages?

Well this lady did'nt tell us anything we did'nt know already...

I bet you're all wondering, as was I about the next speaker who's topic of his speach was, "THE POSITIVE SIDE OF LYME DISEASE".

I'll make a short speach even shorter. This guy,Dr. Friedman Ph.D. from New Jersey....

states that because lyme disease gets most of the money, two fifths of a pie govt gives to

NIAID/ four fifths from NIH and five fifths(or all) from the NIH....

Chronic fatigue syndrome, fybromyalgia, Gulf war syndrome and MC sensitivities get practically nothing!

I guess this guy is strictly a bean counter. I got up and asked him if "85% and 75% of all CFS

and FIBRO patients are really positive for lyme disease....why he does'nt climb aboard and tell

his patients we FINALLY have a cause for their diseases?

I don't recall the answer but it was answered later in a speach by Nancy Klimas....Who made it

perfectly clear that she does'nt want to "lump diseases together" (so info can be shared

apparently). Oh NO, "we must keep all these diseases separate from each other lest confusion sets in".

HUH!? I thought all these speakers were smart!?

At least smart enough to tell one disease from another. Maybe they're too smart to take a

disease that previously has NO cause and refuses to give it a cause even when faced with

the reality that lyme is found in 75 and 85 percent of her patients!

All of a sudden durring the response fron Fein,Carol Fish came on stage and said there will be no question and answer period at this time!

Then at lunch I was politely approached by Sandi Lanford and told that due to an increase

in speakers that they had'nt counted on. There was to be no Q&A after each individual speaker.

Questions would be addressed after the last speaker was finished. However, that time never

came either. After the last speaker which was I believe Charles Ray Jones M.D. Pediatrician(yes the same one being railroaded).

MS Fish and Lanford started the award proceedings for Dr. Jones.

I have to say that I was GREATLY disapointed and I felt very CHEATED because I was not

afforded any chance to question the speakers.

So Cavey! I never got the chance....as it turned out....due to what I already know about

lyme disease and CFIDS and FIBRO and the rest....

I had ONE heck of an EXPENSIVE LUNCH!

Now ain't that just DANDY!

Gee, Did'nt even get to hear anything from Mr. Lanford who was to talk I guess on Kinesiology or the Professional Golf Management.

Hm,HUH??? Who's side are you two on MS. Fish and MS. Lanford??

That makes it TWICE I've been SKEWERED by the Lanford Foundation....

That $150.00 lunch was number two.

There sure won't be a number THREE!

I have to take a break here before I get sick.....

I'll finish up with Jemsek and Fallon and Jones and OH YEAH....KLIMAS later....maybe....cuz

you all probably already know about stuff they talked about anyway....

Darn. I had the best worded post that I accidentally deleted.

Basically I think the speakers recognized someone with superior Lyme

Disease knowledge, thus no Q & A time allowed. [Big Grin]
