Are the moderators going to let us know what they decided?

What would be nice is a timeline--like when, or if, the board does get split into more sections, when could that possibly be used/seen by us here on lymenet?
Would there be a probationary period?
Here's hoping for a cleaner, easier to use version of "Medical". . .

Well, I did not read the posts on changing medical...the pros and cons...
But, it would be good to come up with something that is not so congested.
don't have any answers at this point.

too late Kam for making medical less congested, the powers that be will take the poll results and NOTHING will change! Making some very happy, and some very not. . .
Change on this board often happens v - e - r - y s - l - o - w - l - y. If at all!

Sometimes topics are multi-subject. We don't want to worry all the time about where a question should go. It's very good the way it is; I found it immensely helpful. Splitting might be desirable when the level of activity gets too high, though; sometimes people have had a hard time finding their posts. You used to be able to bookmark them though; I hope that is still the case!!(!!)
But making sure that the posts are easily searchable would be most important. So the search function might be worked on, if it hasn't already been. (it's been a long time since I tried the "search"-- if it has in fact been perfected, people should be thus advised, when they have trouble finding posts.)

Lyme Brain...hadn't thought of bookmarking DAve.
Thanks for the reminder. Hopefully I will get in the habit of doing this.
I still have trouble going back and finding what I want...even via search

imo, medical forum here is it's own living and breathing organism, and always evolving - as are these emerging disease conditions and their treatments. having been here for so many years, it's interesting to see how some clinically minded members have become more "alternatively" minded, and vice verse.
plus - most folks with lyme tend to stick to one main hub.
i believe too much could be missed, and it would eventually change the quality of discussions and the "feeling" of the whole board.

Mo, I'm thinking you missed the latest salt/C/poo/vomit/worms out the nose spamming that caused a lot of people to change their minds about splitting up the forum.
It was working somewhat ok up till then.

even thought the poll is closed,l clicked and could still vote on Jenifer's email; I wasn't the only one. Maybe others who didn't vote can still do so, you never know; why wouldn't they look at that/
