My PM is flashing to tell me that I have a PM, but when I click on the icon, it tells me there is an error on the page. I now no longer have access to my PM's (sent & received).
The PM is from Richard1062. They emailed me to let me know that they had the same error problem as well.
Help!!

many of you have been experiencing this problem happening 1-3 wks. ago.
i'm NOT a moderator but i emailed moderator lou b about this problem for somene else who had to show a home email in order to get info including llmd names.
lou replied...he's sent this problem on to NO. 1 person, BILL STOLOW, who created lymenet.
something will be done in near future; WHAT, no one knows but they are aware of this.
but please go to top of the forum, and click jenifer's name and asking her to pass along your nickname so YOUR PM box can be corrected too.

i've got 3 missent ones from others that are NOT mine for over 1 yr. NEVER deleted by moderators, so there are clitches in the system and we learn to work around them.
BUT your problem/others NEEDS ATTENTION and prompt service now.
so that's the latest on this big problem!! at least you know more than you did when you posted.
if you really want to talk to others, send them your home or a MADE UP 2ND HOME EMAIL ADDY to use for getting answers.

Thank you so much for your reply and directions for help. I am worried that I have lost some PM's that I was saving w/ info on them, so fingers crossed I will get some recovered.

I notified Lou, who I am sure is doing something about it, and Jennifer, and also the webmaster by mistake.
It makes me appreciate how much is right and good about this board.

that's why it's nice to create files on your HOME inbox and file them there for occasions like this so they don't clutter up & exceed 60 notes max there.
Thanks for the tip about saving emails on my home computer -- never occurred to me!
I finally have my PM box back and operating. As soon as I get home tonight, I will save my PM's in a folder there.

summers, yes, our PMs from folks specifically tell us what they are about, so it's wise to save them there.
others have told me OUR replies aren't necessarily attached to the 1 post....so if you want something there on YOUR REPLY; copy your comments and add to that post, just send it to yourself so it's complete or however you chose to do this ok!
