Program: Dustin Brisson, Ph.D. Professor at University of Pennsylvania will present an update on research on Lyme vaccine development in mice.
About Dr. Brisson =>

Can vaccinating mice reduce Lyme disease cases? And how do you vaccinate mice, anyway? Dustin Brisson, PhD, University of Pennsylvania microbiologist has been working on a mouse vaccine. We had Dr Brisson talk about his research last year, after the first series of trials (conducted in Chester County), and on August 19, he will be back to give us an update. He will also discuss his surprising research on Lyme disease reservoir species.

For those of you who live near Bethlehem, PA see below:

Benefit concert for LDASEPA On Saturday, August 15th from 4-8 PM at the Reservoir Park in Hellertown, PA, hometown band Skyfall will be performing for the community in an effort to bring Lyme disease awareness into the spotlight. The free concert will be open to the public and will feature three performances by local musicians, refreshments, and information on Lyme disease prevention and awareness. Announcement & Details
