There was just a great exchange between Rep. Wolfe and Smith and Rep. Pallone. Wolfe was trying to get the Lyme bill passed-Pallone at least promised that there would be hearings on the matter next year. Let's hope that he is true to his comments. I hope someone puts the exchange on Youtube-Wolfe and Smith are definitely informed about the topic!

At several points, Pallone actually seems to be laughing and making light of the seriousness of this. Only way he will truly learn is to have personal exposure to it himself. What a shame. Wolf and Smith seem to be committed to holding Pallone's feet to the fire. Smith mentioned Under Our Skin and was apparently very influenced by what he saw.
As I said, long ... over 20 minutes ... but worth every minute.

To clarify, I believe it was Wolf (VA), who spoke first, who mentioned seeing the movie; Smith (NJ) who said he read the book Cure Unknown in one sitting, and recommended it to the House.
