Ok, between the time I first looked on this site, to today, I've noticed that some of the Lyme topics are voted down into the negative. This is not good, and more than likey a result of IDSA goons.
We need to take a stand, vote on ALL Lyme topics, get everyone you know to vote. Spread the word, lets not get undone because of a few ignorant people.
Put your stories ontheir to, even if it gets voted down, they can't ignore a flooding of stories.

has over 200,000 points!! that's 20,000 people have voted for that since each vote goes up 10 points only...1 vote/person!!
VOTE and comment on those you wish too, but VOTE...it's the point totals that count; not how many comments were made. thanks!~

There is no link mentioned in this thread, so no one is going to know what you are talking about. I have no clue. Where please? Thanks, Robin62

Perhaps a more general title will pull in more viewers?
Emerging Diseases, Insurance Companies & Medical Monopolies This nation must come to terms with the fastest growing vector born illnesses in this country: Lyme disease, Chronic Lyme disease, and other tick borne infections.
Children playing in parks, school grounds, their own back yards are at risk and becoming chronicaly ill with dissiminated entrenched infections because they are not being diagnosed and treated properly as per ILADS more open, realisitic and humane guidelines.
Treatment then has to be long term and can take years of antibiotics just to bring the infections under some sort of reasonable control.
Mothers and fathers, adults are becoming disabled, unable to earn incomes. Insurance companies refuse to pay for treatments.
These diseases are "migrating" as the climate warms and as vectors and host animals carry them far beyond Lyme CT. We have huge clusters on the east coast down into the Carolinas, in the upper Midwest and on the West coast. Tick borne diseases exist in all states.
Please do not ignore us. You cannot afford to. We struggle to obtain medical care and to keep it as our doctors fear retribution from medical boards for treating us with the antibiotics that are needed to peel away the layers of entrenched infection.
What other diseases are being effected by the same struggles as those with Chronic Lyme? Who else among us are being denied coverage, suffer from inadequate health care, often being turned away by doctor after doctor even though presenting with positive tests? Who else among us has to protect the few doctors who dare to treat their illness properly from medical boards?
