My daughter had a picc inserted on 9/1/09 and we have had nothing but problems she is red, itchy under the bandage, I just called the home infusion company they told me to give her bendryl every 6 hours but I would like to know if anyone else has been through this, Is there any special bandages I could get? Any info would be appreciated

mrss,

please edit and "CUT" your post here and the OTHER REPLY, not mine, and move it to MEDICAL where those knowledgeable folks on picc lines post....thx [Smile]

then delete this post by clicking on pencil
go to upper left corner

ignore moderator's comment; you can delete yur post anytime, but that's why i ask you copy kathryn's post too so we don't lose their time, effort, and brain power. [Smile] hugs

i do believe i've noticed in subject headings of others having it red/infected, etc. so look for their posts on screens 1-3 or use the SEARCH feature at top for medical.

best wishes for her...
