This is great. Let's pull together to make this bill pass!
The Bill is now in the House, Welfare, and Institutions Committee.
Here is the list of Delegates on the Committee. Orrock, Nixon, O'Bannon, Bell, Robert B., Athey, Nutter, Peace, Crockett-Stark, Pogge, Massie, Merricks, Bell, Richard P., Garrett, Stolle, Spruill, Sickles, Ebbin, Howell, A.T., BaCote, Englin, Morrissey, Hope
If you see YOUR delegate on this list, YOU have a very critical role to play in this bill. I work in legislative advocacy, and these folks DO take note when they hear from constituents. You would be amazed how most of what they get is from lobbyists - so they take special note of citizens with real stories. It doesn't take that many calls, either.
We can't let VA go the way of NC. Can you imagine losing your LLMD? Even if your Delegate is not on the list, they of course still play an important role. Call, Fax, or Email...we CAN make a difference !
