Pamela just got done addressing the IOM about her family's patient and journalistic experience with Lyme and co's and got a standing ovation.
She is asking for less drama and more working together for scientific understanding, as she called it, when bioscience and patients can converge.
She feels that we're going to have more and more scientific information to aid the medical community in understanding these diseases, and in the meantime, to listen better and accept that people are suffering and need to be believed and helped.
