I am getting more info...Please note time change from 9:00 to 8:00...

Mrs. Barnes is required in court at 8:00------------
***********************************************
regarding a march to save a dying Lyme Disease Patient's Life!

SUBJECT: URGENT MATTER - LYME DISEASE MARCH; February 2nd, Wednesday, 9:00 AM to save Ld patient's life

Please join the LDUC in marching for the life of Albert Barnes. Albert Barnes is an elderly Lyme disease patient, who has lost all human rights to live.

He is in a Minneapolis hospital, where he has not signed a Do Not Resuscitate form, nor does his family want him euthanized.

He has been removed from all sources of antibiotics, with his Lyme disease not being recognized at all.

He needs dialysis for his kidneys. Despite the Judge's ruling to place him back on dialysis, the hospital will not honor the Judge's orders.

He is responsive to his wife, Lana, yet no one will listen to her. She has tried to remove him from the hospital, but the hospital will not release him.

I have gone to the press and to the governor of Minnesota over this case. It is a clear-cut attempt at euthanizing of a Lyme patient.

Every right of Albert Barnes and his family is being violated. An article on this will be printed in the Minneapolis Star Tribune on January 31, or February 1.

Please attend the march Wednesday, February 2 at 9:00 AM. We ask that you make your own signs (see below). If you have a bullhorn, please bring it.

Date: February 2, 2011 - Wednesday

Time: 9:00 AM

Place: Hennepin County Courthouse

(Government Center) - 300 South 6th Street - Minneapolis, Minnesota 55487

Please see attached documents for the names addresses and phone numbers of hotels near the courthouse and a map with the courthouse location on it if you need to come in the day before and need a place to stay.

Please make signs that say:

Free Lyme disease patient Albert Barnes!

Euthanasia is not an option for Lyme disease!

Antibiotics are the option!

They have a hospital and helicopter ready to take him if he makes it that long...

The judge signed the order but they still refuse.....

Please be aware they have to be in court at 8:00

Not 9:00--------to once again address the judge with the denial to release.

They would like to get as many there as possible to make it known now------

WE WILL NOT TOLERATE EUTHANASIA.

Prayers and more prayers said.

This poor man and family... Don't know what to say. Makes me so angry and sad for them.

I hope a resolution in his best interest will be achieved like NOW.

Sounds like they are planning to take his wifes right to make decisions about his healthcare away because they think she's not capable of making good decisions due to her belief that he has chronic lyme.

Hard to believe that they can actually deny to treat kidney failure even with a court order in place + HOW can they disallow him the right to leave their hospital?

I'm assuming he hasn't been commited to a mental hospital. Aside from that, I don't believe a person can be held without their consent without a court order and it seems the hospital does not care about court orders.

The whole thing sounds very bizarre. Hard to believe.

Sorry I can't be there but my thoughts are with Mr. Barnes and his family.

Due to the blizzard conditions, the march scheduled for Wednesday, February 2nd in Minneapolis, Minnesota will be cancelled,
and held at a later date.

Originally the march was to be held outside of the Hennepin County Courthouse in Minneapolis, MN to save the life of Lyme disease patient, Albert Barnes.

A blizzard with a negative 35 wind chill is scheduled to hit Minneapolis this evening, and continue into Wednesday.

I will not risk the health of Lyme patients in conditions like this.

We will search for in interior marching site in the next week or so, to hold this march. The Minnesota climate is too harsh in the winter for an outside march.

*****Please send emails to Jeremy Olson <[email protected] >
at the Minnesota Star Tribune, writer of articles about Albert Barnes.*****

Please let Jeremy know what Lyme disease is all about, and why Albert Barnes can be saved with antibiotic treatments.

We will keep you alerted to the continuing efforts to save Albert Barnes.

In the Barnes case, the wife's requests appear so unrealistic that they suggest she isn't fit to make the decisions entrusted to her, Miles said. "If you ... ask to have your appendix out, even though you don't have appendicitis, you're going to have a hard time talking a doctor into that. What does that mean? That your wishes aren't being respected?"

There you go. It's the Lyme.

Plasmapheresis in neurologic disorders:

I think he should be treated and filtered at the same time...Who knows he might surprise them all...

At this point they have left them with nothing to lose....

Stranger things have happened...
