- Well, I think we need to know this.
We need to see these links.
We need to ask these questions of ANYONE who says they are committed to lyme education and awareness because we need to figure out if they are authentic.
They are in the news and we must be aware of that.
Tonight, how many of our families will now think that YALE quote is accurate? Ten days of an antibiotic will take care of it, really?
If a politician promises they will correct the situation and does not even correct the errors in the article about his taking up this cause, then we are failed. We need to know that.
And, if by some chance, he does intend to learn more, we need to ask HOW? We need specifics because if he is going to use LYME to secure any votes, he better be speaking the truth about lyme, for all our sakes.
That goes for ANYONE and EVERYONE. I'd say the same about anyone who made such statements and omissions.
I have the same questions for anyone - regardless of party. I expect them to be extremely well educated on the matter. -

yes but this will turn into a political statement of Romney versus Obama as all political discussions do.
Just saying

- It need not turn into one against the other if we aim to keep it true to lyme, so to speak. Keeping it in context.
We need to see what any candidate might have to say about it. And we can ask the same questions of everyone.
I'd ask the same questions of Santa Clause were he to promise he'd do something about lyme. I want to know his background on the matter and the action plan. And I would not just take his word for it without checking. -

I'm on my cell so I didn't get to read through your comments but I wanted to say because of this is not a show of support for either Puppet head I mean candidate.
What I do like is the public and docs will be forced to rethink this disease is something simple to deal with.
Maybe put a disclaimer in the beginning of your comments stating "my reply is not to support either candidate but to confirm the need for lyme disease not to be taken light"
There are people who don't get it reading these articles so we can get our voice in there without taking political side but as lyme patients who want help
Sorry if I'm rambling not home right now

I would say that if they know ms then they would understand Lyme. Currently nobody mentions it and at least ann Having such an illness would lead them to be more understanding.
I don't see any anybody talking about Lyme at all other than it does not exist.
