If you have any of these physician diagnosed illnesses please take part in the Symptom Checker survey. The Symptom Checker is a professional online resource where you can enter your symptoms and get suggestions of diagnoses. Collecting this data might help to show how symptoms overlap with Lyme, ME, CFS and FM.

The full instructions and survey description are here:
http://counsellingme.com/VIRAS/SymptomRef.html

We are getting feedback that mobile phones cannot do the survey, so a PC is needed. Also, that pop-up blockers might prevent all the options from working, so they might need to be switched off temporarily.

Many Thanks

I am puzzled as to the purpose of this.

As far as Lyme, ME, and CFS are concerned, remove swollen joints from the equation and the broad symptom clusters will generally parallel.

This also holds true to a great extent for FM.

To muddy the waters further, many today combine ME/CFS, and many place FM within the CFS umbrella.

To a certain extent, each of our symptom constellations presents uniquely, like snowflakes, but broadly, we are all four snow (with a quarter having a known but contested etiology).

Hi Duncan, if you follow the link you can read the rationale. I want to try and exert some pressure on the NICE guidelines development group so that the IDSA cronies don't have it all their own way. They have already made one of their chief objectives clear and it is aimed at preventing PWME etc getting diagnosed with Lyme.
