Hi Everyone,
I will be going to the rally on November 30th and I was wondering if we are all going to wear green to represent our unity in fighting this disease? Any other thoughts on how we can get this message across? Thanks.

Way to go save...
Good for you! Can't wait to see you!!
I found some lime green vests on the internet.. and I think the folks organizing the event will be wearing them there.
As for the rest of the WONDERFUL folks...
We had concerns the coats we MAY need to wear might cover the green clothes we would wear... and most folks I've seen don't have lime green jackets and heavy winter coats of lime green...
Soooooooooooooo...
They will have some lime green ribbons.. and balloons.. and such at the site.
I'm wearing lime green... and will also be dancing around with a lime green duck on my head.. so...
I MAY not be the one to ask. HA!
But I do think if you have some.. certainly wear it.

How about a hunter aiming a rifle at a(n) (IDSA) duck quacking for his life ...

Can't wait to see Wise Butt in the hat and boots. Might I suggest a sparkly lime-green thong, at least, there, Lady? Then you won't be stark nekkid.
My husband said it's a good idea, or no one will be looking at the signs. I think I'll go belt him now.

I've got a noise maker-actually looks more like a rooster head-but when you shake it it makes this annoying duck quaking noise. Can't wait to shake it on the bus.
If I wear the same lyme green tee shirt I wore to the CT rally over my winter coat I will in fact, look like an engorged lyme green tick. Kind of like that kid in A Christmas Story who wanted a BB gun.
If I fall over I'll just keep waving my noise maker till someone picks me up.

I went to dollar stores and consignment stores, found lime green scarves, pants, and a fleece throw that may help keep someone warm. I'll look more tomorrow if I can.
Are there some standard signs or are we all to bring our own. Green balloons are a good idea as long as we don't leave dead ones on the ground for birds to choke on.
I heard 150 would be there on Th at the rally. I hope its a lot more!
See y'all there!

Sizzzzzzzzzz..
Those lime green vests sound great! THANKS!!!
But does it mean if I wear one, that I am a hazard?
OK you guys.. you thought I wouldn't see this post.. obviously. I almost didn't!

Since they just promoted me to be the leader of the bus...
I assure you...
You WILL be searched before entering!
DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT!
Unless of course you don't mind if I hold you by the neck and shake you to see what kind of noises YOU make?
Hey LMT..
You said.. to ME...
"But I hear the boys all know you..HAAAA!!!"
That is ALMOST what I heard about YOU.. believe it or not.
Actually the guys said..
"Oh yeah.. LMT.. she is REAL popular down at the stables. We heard all the horse manure."
When... or IF... you figure THAT one out.. give yourself a gold star. (helps if you read it quickly)
Mary J... sorry you can't be there. We will miss you!
lamach and save.. GREAT ideas!!!! At least SOMEONE here is USING their brains for something other than a hatrack.
And don't let Mo fool you... she has BEAUTIFUL hair. It would look good if she washed it in mud... and didn't rinse!
But does it mean if I wear one, that I am a hazard?
Tincup- you're a hazard with or without lyme green vest.
Also - I thought if I shook my noise maker enough on the bus -by the time we got to the protest everybody would conditioned to chant "SHUT THE DUCK UP"
