Hi all
I have been taking doxi for 2 years.
It made me Super Photo Sencitive.

This was by far the worst side
effect of taking Doxi for me-

For those of you who have not gone
threw it-its no fun--at all.

Even the light coming from my
computer screen Burned My Skin--
I am not kidding--
I would not believe
it eather-except I lived threw it.
I felt like I was glowing

The first time I got burned was
3 days after first taking Doxi-
- my arms face and hands had
blisters all over-

The burn is not like a regular sun
burn--more blisters and much more
painful--and lasts Much longer--

This side effect perty much
made it so I could not go out side
in the day-at all---

Well 3 months ago I was researching
--Photo Toxic--

In the articals
2 people had Bad reactions
on Doxi after eating Citrus fruit.

The reaction happened fast-Hours-
from the time of eating the Citrus.

From what I have read- it seams
that not every one gets
this burn side effect as bad as me.

I have drank lemonade every day for
many years-a gallon a day-I Like it--

So 3 months ago I quit drinking
lemonade-and the sun burn reaction
has - Gone Away Completly --

It took awhile--
and I did not feel much
diffrence for 2 months--but then
I got Much Better Very Fast--

I can now go out side with little
bad effect and seams to be getting
better every day.

But I think it is still
going to be awhile longer before
I get a sun tan again -----

So the moral to the story is
Doxi and citrus--equals pain--

and there is good info on
the internet--you just have to
-- Know It- when you Find It -
---Jay---

Interesting groovy... thanks!

Guess living in the Florida sunshine.. eating all the citrus fruit I could manage to consume for $3.00 a basket full.. and sucking down doxy is NOT the thing to do!

I appreciate the warning.

Hope you feel better soon.

Now.. one quick question...

ARE YOU NUTS?

It's after 3 AM!

GET TO BED, Dipstick!

If you get the choice to sit it out or dance...

A GALLON of lemonade every day?? Yikes.... that's some serious sugar cals.

I know that Doxy can definitely cause more serious sunburns. I got some pretty bad burns and rashes on my face and hands earlier this spring. I'm now off of it and OK.

Be sure and check the type of sunscreen that you are wearing.

US standards are not the same as Australian standard (the numbers are useless in this regard).

Australian standard requires the protection of 3 types of rays. I recommend the brand blue lizard. You can order it or purchase it here:

Hi all
I wanted to add--the lemonade I used
to drink I made very weak- I would
mix 1 can frozen lemonade to gallon
of water--
did not make candida anyworse.

-Sun screen did not help me at all--
I did researched on how they work.
-How they work is much more
complucated than I thought.

The blue lizzard sun screen
from Australian is supposed to be
very good-- The info from there
web site made sence.

I was not able to get it yet but
I may not need it. I just spent 2
hours out side and I am feeling ok.

--Crazy--not sure how long after you
quit doxi for burn effect to ware off-

I have not been threw that yet- but
I hear it takes awhile.--Jay--

Hi All

This is a update--

I am 100% Sure that Citrus can
cause the Photo Toxic reaction--
Sun Burn -Light Burn -ect
when taking Doxi --

Its been about a year sence I
stopped eating Any Citrus --
and the Photo Toxic reaction --
Is Totally Gone -- Zero --

Over the last year I did mess up
2 times by drinking something
that had Citrus in it---
A citrus soda---

3 drops of Grapefruit Seed Extract--

and I drank some- Cranberry Juice -
that also caused this bad effect--
So add Cranberries to the list--

Each time I messed up the
Photo Toxic effect returned in hours--
and lasted a few days--

Now I am still taking doxi
and the Sun Burn effect is
completely gone---Zero --AAhhhh

Google- Photo Toxic- for futher info-

I Hope this helps you---Jay
