check this site. I think Bryan has excerpts of his book available. YOu might be able to find that part. I know he discusses it in his book.

I have used both types of devices. My homemade pulser has 4,000 Uf of capacitance and is far more powerfull that anything you can buy. Both types of devices work great! I prefer magnetic devices like the "thumper" (super magnetic pulser) and the "Doug Coil".

A Doug coil setup cured my migraines in minutes. Arthritis pain goes away but comes back in a few days so it requires constant treatment.
