Hi,

Does anyone have any medical/scientific proof, meaning from Igenex, etc, what this means?

Does any lab state that this IND means it is highly possible this could be a +, or they cannot be sure either way, so it could be a +???

It might mean indecisive, but you should call the lab and ask them...they will tell you for sure. MDL = 877-269-0090 Igenix = 800-832-3200

It means indeterminate which means that they saw something. The "something" was not strong enough to be considered a positive, but it was not negative. Evidence of a band was present.

This from my web site under Testing:

Some labs reports only + (positive) and - (negative) and ignore equivocal or IND (indeterminate) bands. This is, in my opinion, in error. If anything is visible, this is not negative. Quest, for example, does not report IND bands whereas IGeneX does.

IND means band present with intensity less than the weak (1+) That what it says on my IGeneX test anyway.
