Don't feed the bugs

I have heard this from my doctor over a number of years.

He repeatedly is trying to make the point about the poor nutritional madness that we have in this country - with the vitamins and nutrient supplements.

When you eat vitamins and nutrients, you primarily are feeding the microflora, and usually because of the kind of choices that we make, we are feeding the bad bugs either just as well as the good ones, or more. How do we know? Nobody knows, nobody has studied it, nobody has looked at that we actually do; what we actually see when we put ourselves on nutritional programs. Usually, we do well for six weeks or three months and then we crash.

He has often expressed how much of the modern illnesses that we have are produced by the change in nutrition and supplementation craze - by our feeding pathogenic microorganisms first and we get the leftovers or what is left after they had their feed on it.

He prefers rectal implants for our nutrition or injectables - for the chronically ill person that is the solution. We bypass the intestines, feeding the rest of the body, which makes the healthy organisms outgrow and gain strength over the pathogenic bugs in the gut and we get a balance again.

B-vitamins for example are prime foods for most pathogenic bacteria and worms, giardia and amoebas. The studies were done while we worked in India for a few years: give somebody oral B-vitamins and within days the count of anarobics in the colon doubled, and the higher the anaerobic count in the stool, the worse the patient is off. Injecting the B-vitamins, the count of anaerobes in the stool was cut in half.

In Dr. K.'s opinion - what we do by way of that type of oral supplementation is dangerous.

Take care.

There is evidence that this holds true for the Magnesium and calcium also. It has been my personal experience that I have done better after stopping supplements. I notice that when I am tempted to start up again that I will feel better for a few days to a week, and then I will feel a worsening of Sx's. It's hard to do tho when so many people are telling you to take them.

I'm not disputing this, but my experience has been just the opposite -- I feel a heck of a lot better when I take my supps than when I don't... a real, tangible difference.

My experience agrees with mini. My doctor who is integrative and highly trained in nutrition is using both IV and oral treatments. Most of the IV has been glutathione and lipostabil with a couple Myers Cocktails initially. The rest of the supps are oral but they are not vitamins. They are enzymes and amino acids, L-glutamine, chondroitin, CoQ10, DHEA, Vit D3 and mega doses of Vit C. I am thriving really well.

GiGi,

I'm attempting to get rid of the "bugs" with
parasite cleanses, colon cleanse, garlic, mercury and other metal detoxes.

Its hard for me to go gungho on, for example, the DrNatura cleanse. I would be in bed all day with stomach cramps. So I do a little bit for maybe a week and then stop and take a break. Hope it isn't making things worse.

Of course I am already detoxing from killing lyme (Rife machine) so these other cleanses are hard to implement to where I'm able to work out at karate and just function!

But, a little bit is better than none at all so I hope I'm killing the bugs and not feeding them.

I'm taking the freeze-dried garlic properly, DrNatura off and on, probiotics, Magnesium at night, Xango 3 times a day, Wobenzymes early a.m. and late p.m.

Is any of that "feeding" the bugs too much? Should I stop the magnesium then?

Oh, I also have a steam tent with oxygen/ozone pumped in that I use several times a week.

Sandy
