Here is a radio interview with Brooke. It is different then what was on GMA this morning. It is very good, she gets to discuss her own condition, symptoms, tests, and what happened to her doctor a bit more.

I am bumping this post up. You need to hear Brooke on ABC radio. This interview is so much better than the one on ABC TV!!!

And without the input of the Doctor makes it even better.

Thanks so much Brooke for your time and also for doing this for the Lyme Community.

Thanks for posting this also.

Much better than the tv program without the doctor's misinformation to cloud the story.

Anyone write to GMA to express their opinion of the doctor's comments?

Hi all,

I think it is vital that we respond with comments to ABC's online link to this report.

There are two different links. The one below is for comments. (Don't know if anyone at GMA is reading these or not??)

http://abcnews.go.com/Health/Germs/Story?id=3530027&page=4

There is also a direct link to the GMA editors just above this that says "contribute". Here is that direct link:

But she says a big booboo: she says very early in the interview something to the effect that there is a 60% chance that if a normal person is tested, they will be positive when they are negative.

She gets the point across that the test is inaccurate, but, if I heard her correctly, she flipped the problem with the tests.

Yeah, I think she did. Just a day in the life of a lyme patient!
