Hi all

I got a tick bite several days ago inbetween my fingers. Now there is what looks like a small pus filled bump that itches like heck. Can this be a normal reaction from a tick infected with Lyme or is this type of skin reaction point to another infection passed by the tick? I just read briefly somewhere that if you got scratched by a cat and the cat passed bartonella on to you that you could get pus filled bumps at the site. Any thoughts? Thanks! :>)

Is this right where the bite was? I get little bumps like that, but it's not from a bite, I'm a long term Lymie.

I don't know.

I'm not sure what the puss filled red spot is, but i get them all the time.. sometimes on my stomach, sometimes on my neck or face.. anywhere really.

I have been dx w/lyme.. is this another symptom of long term??

This particular itchy red....fluid filled bump is exactly on the tick bite. I usually get red marks...with no rash. Sometimes a very small red circle from irritation but never a little fluid filled bump. I was surprised when I read the literature online that said if you get scratched by a cat you can get a bump like this at the scratch site and then a few weeks later you could have fever, chills , etc and more of these bumps could form on top of the skin and underneath. I guess it's hard for any of us to tell without more info
