Here are some sites for reference. It seems that light is good for treating a number of illnesses in various ways.

There are probably more websites - this was just an hour or so of searching on google.

Treatments for viral applications with laser, UV, etc.

Thanks!

Perfect timing. I am floating around here every time there is a storm or it gets a little dark. I'll jump on it now.

"Scientists were surprised to learn summer lightning over the U.S. significantly increases regional ozone and other gases that affect air chemistry 3 to 8 miles above Earth's surface.

The amounts of ozone and nitrogen oxides created by lightning surpass those generated by human activities in that level of the atmosphere.

Typically over the U.S., fossil fuel burning is the main cause of nitrogen oxides (NOx), which lead to the formation of ozone near the Earth's surface.

However, above the Earth's surface in the free troposphere (3-8 miles high), during the summer months, lightning activity increases NOx by as much as 90 percent and ozone by more than 30 percent."

http://www.nasa.gov/home/hqnews/2003/mar/HP_news_03110.html

The ozone layer PROTECTS us from the very strong damaging rays of the sun.

"This layer absorbs 93-99% of the sun's high frequency ultraviolet light, which is potentially damaging to life on earth."

Ozone is harmful (very) for us to BREATHE when it is in excess lower in the atmosphere and esp. when combined with fossil fuel emissions (car exhaust).

Lightning...talk about a HUGE power surge! Gamma rays (high frequency, high energy) released...

Light not only vibrates at different frequencies, it also travels at different speeds.

Light waves move through a vacuum at their maximum speed,

186,000 miles per second, which makes light the fastest phenomenon in the universe.

Light waves slow down when they travel inside substances, such as air, water, glass or a diamond.

The way different substances affect the speed at which light travels is key to understanding the bending of light, or refraction...

Now...5th grade science question for $25,000.00:

How fast does light travel in a vacuum?

Trick question!!! The answer is right there...

More articles -

Laser Irradiation of the Blood

There's some very interesting stuff here. I'll post more reference articles as I find them.

Seems that blue light makes the blood less viscous. This may address the fibrinogen issue for people with Lyme.
