Hi,
Forgive me if this is a stupid question, but I honestly don't really know what exactly a tinyurl is (is it a shortened website address?) If it is, how do you do it?

LIke I said, please forgive me for not knowing. And, I need simplified directions. My mind doesn't function well like it used to.

Thanks for your help.

Kayda

Yes, it's a website especially for the purpose of shrtening long http url's. It really helps to keep the pages from expanding so that one doesn't have to keep adjusting the screen to read all the way accross. I wish that everyone would take the time to learn it. Here's the site:

http://tinyurl.com/

You copy the url that you want to use as a link and then paste it at the tiny uryl site. Just follow the directions there. It tells you how to do it.

Buena suerte, or is it bonus nachos [Smile]

There is a URL device below the reply box you type in. Right under "Add Reply" and next to the graemlins.

How to use it...

1.) Bring up 2 webpages: the Lymenet Reply page and the webpage you want to link to

2.) Right click on the Link's URL address and left click "Copy"

3.) Come back on Lymenet Reply and click on the URL button -- a little box should pop up

4.) Right click in the box and left click "Paste," which should put your link into the box (be sure it only says "http://" once)

5.) Click "Okay" -- a second little box should come up

6.) type in whatever you want to call the link, and click "Okay"
