Is it possible that the infection compromised the blood flow in the limb so greatly that sleeping on it was enough to cause massive nerve damage?

Adam, sorry about this symptom. This happened to me over a several month period in early 2005; I had no idea what was going on and it scared the pants of of me. Here's part of what I've figured out in terms of the infection from mycoplasma pneumonia:
Started in sinuses > moved to throat > spread into brachial plexus > moved deeper into throat soft tissue > moved into CSF and cervical spine > caused severe spine pains and degeneration.
Once these bugs moved into the brachial plexus, they cause all kinds of odd problems in my arms. It also caused some stubborn trigger points in my scalenes, SCM, deltoids and traps. It definitely was in my blood and caused some major cardiovascular issues -- not the least of which was cold hands and feet. At least this nasty problem birthed my screen name!
I am on the MP and have recently added Rechts Regulat to dissolve the immune complexes and hard tissue encapsulations -- it's working very effectively. I should also add that ALL my back pains stopped, along with the degenerative processes that were occurring in my cervical spine. Amazing, eh?!
PM me if you think I can help!
BTW: When reviewing PubMed articles, I found documented cases of a bacterial lung infection finding its way into the spine, where it caused an infection there!
