Dang! I have things to do today .. and my BP is 83/45 .. It's the 45 I'm worried about. What does the lower number affect? (or vice versa)
I'm trying to bring it up by hydrating myself, but so far it went from 94/47 to the 83/45.
GRRR... I've had to change heart meds twice now... don't want to try again.
and yes, I feel it

You should still call your Dr tutu......
Low Diastolic Blood Pressure If the diastolic pressure is too low (known as hypotension or low blood pressure), the blood is not able to bring oxygen and nutrients to all the body's cells and remove waste matter. This can cause the cells to die. The diastolic blood pressure is considered low when the blood pressure reading is below 60.

Thanks for the info, mom... was wondering what the diastolic did.
Mine is often below 60. The problem is that I have to take a med for my heart and they all (except one) lower the BP. I switched to that drug last month and ended up in the hospital with A-fib again.
I will see my cardio on Tuesday. I do have to call my GP's office tomorrow. Maybe I'd better mention it. GRRRR

Cayenne!!!
Whenever I get low bp, or poor oxygen, or poor circulation, or heavy heart...
I take a good quality cayenne supplement and BAM - literally within 15 minutes feel relieved.
Cayenne is amazing

Cayenne... but then they'd have to rush me to the hospital with severe acid reflux!!!
Wonder what else would work? How about licorice? I've heard it raises BP? Someone posted something about a gluten free variety, so maybe most is not GF?

My B/P runs low but when I go to the doctor up it goes.. So they don't believe me. Mine has been as low as yours. The bottom number seldom gets up to 60 unless I am at the doc..
Not sure the cause. If you find out any info let me know.
I have SVT, PVC, etc and have to take a beta blocker to help control my rate/rhythm. I tried 3 kinds that made me almost black out since my blood pressure went so low, anyway I started on acebutolol (sectral is the name brand) and it doesn't knock me as low. Cardio said this one spares your blood pressure more than others and controls heart just as well. So that's an idea if you wanted to check into it. I know how the low bp makes you feel and how scary it is. Best of luck.
