if you search my past posts..ive been talking about this tooth that has been bothering me since i got sick back in october.
it is the 2nd to last moler on the top left side. it started out with this weird hole i noticed. then gradually started getting more problematic and
hurting more..then i got tmj, and trigeminal neuragia(so the docs said) and there was swelling in the muscles by my jaw joints.
it was hurting everytime i ate cause i would get food stuck up in it and i was always trying to suck food out of it(sucking my teeth)..
yesterday it started hurting more than usual becoming very sensitive, i just thought i had more food stuck in it that wouldnt come out.
then last nite, i was eating a chip and all of sudden, my tooth just completely broke.
i didnt hurt when i broke it but now its starting to and there a huggge hole and its black and its cutting my tongue.
i dont know what to do!! i dont have dental insurance only medicaid..and i have absolutely no money...but money aside, should i get this tooth pulled or what???
what should i do?? i know the lyme is a factor that most dentist dont consider!! i need help
someone please help me, im starting to get scared.

Is there a dental school around that you could go to? Or some kind of free clinic? does medicaid cover any kind of dental work?
It IS scary when you break a tooth. It's like, oh my God, what NEXT???? The same thing happened to me, and I thought, "I'm starting to fall apart..." But I got the tooth fixed and so far I'm still ok and getting better as my treatment progresses, so it's not signalling the end of the world, even though it may seem that way at the moment.
Good luck.

That is a big pocket of infection you will be getting rid of when you get it taken care of.

it's funny, the same thing happened to me about 2 wks ago. all of a sudden i felt a hole in my tooth. part of an old filling fell out and took a piece of tooth with it. my dentist (luckily we got dental ins for the 1st time in years!) cleaned it out and put a temporary crown and he'll replace with a permanent one.

Dental infections can be very serious and even kill you if the infection spreads to the brain. You need to get that tooth taken care of ASAP, in my opinion. There has to be someone someplace who can take you, money or not.
