I'm wondering about the generic too. I was thinking of getting a 10 day supply to give it a try.
I'll be curious to hear if you notice a difference.
The price difference for out of pocket payers like me is significant although the generic is still expensive approx $300/100 tabs vs. $500 for Biaxin.

I've been taking the generic for over two weeks. It also was increased to three a day instead of two.
I haven't felt this good for a long time!
I regrouted my tile in my kitchen.
Started scraping off border in kitchen and dining room.
Don't know for sure, but I'm on my fifth year of treatment.

The generic name is, Clarithromycin. Taking 500mg 3tx day, but only 2 plaquanil.
