My husband and I periodically use ReishiMax to help boost our immune system. It's fairly expensive if you buy it at retail, but Pharmanex is having a rare "buy one, get the second one for $5" sale. Plus, if you order online by June 30, and enter in the code 20ECOUP at checkout, you receive another 20% off.
According to Dr. Burrascano: "This enhanced extract from cracked spores of the reishi mushroom has been shown in clinical studies to augment function of the Natural Killer Cells and macrophages. Take two a day for maintenance, and four a day in disease states." http://www.ilads.org/burrascano_1102.html
Normally Reishimax retails for $88.60 online, but with this sale and the 20% off discount, you get two bottles for $37.44 each. (One of the few good deals in Lymedom :-)
Has anyone else had success with Reishi mushrooms?
KrisKraft (FYI: I distribute Pharmanex on the side, as a way to help subsidize our high Lyme supplement costs.)

My son has been taking Immpower (also called AHCC) which is a reishi and maitake mushroom extract. His results have been very good. This is available at the following websites. Better Health International www.betterhealthinternational.com 60/ $46.95 + $4.95 shipping
Fubaobigstep.com 60 / $49.95
I haven't read the research on ReishiMax but will look into it. AHCC has extensive research behind it regarding NK cell increases.
