Lyme can go into cyst form and hide from your immune system. It can then come out at a later date.
In my opinion if you had Lyme before and you are having systems again (and your probably having more or worse symptoms now) you probably never killed it the first time around.
If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, quacks like a duck..... its probably a DUCK.
Get a good lyme literate doctor, get tested again through Igenex Labs, and get treated long term.
Good Luck,
Lisi

One of the things that they've found about Lyme disease is that it can sit dormant or your immune system finds a way to keep it under control for long periods of time.
Many people have had a stressful experience (car accident, surgery, child birth) and have their Lyme come back. This may be what you are experiencing.
Congratulations on your baby,
Corgilla
You may have passed on the disease to your child....
Have him/her checked out as well....zman
------------------
Childbirth then aggravates an already diminshed body with stress and trama.
Also if the lyme has affected your hormones such as thyroid you are no longer sharing the babies and a depletion which could have been excused as tired normal pregnancy is now exasperated by trama and lack of sleep that comes with a new baby.
Make sure you get treated because it is vital to enjoying this time with your baby,
Remember to always take care of yourself because that is the best gift you can give to your child.
If mama is happy everyone is happy!

I've had Lyme and co-infections for 20 years now.

I have emailed you, Thanks!
Im so sorry you're going through this. As I sit here typing, the tips of my fingers are numb. My feet and legs are also numb. I often feel as if I have something crawling on me, and I get really startled.
I've only been on abx for 3 months, but I've got many of the neurological symptoms you talked about.
Just know you're not alone!\
