Hi, does any one know if you should limit the amount of probiotics you take while on antibiotics.?

I'm taking small amounts of three different types in the hope that I will be getting the correct strains to counteract the actions of the antibiotics I'm on, but I can't really find any definite guidelines on this, everything i've read says 'take good probiotics' but can you take too much?

Thanks for any advice on this.

I don't think you can. Probably if you "took too much" you'd have stomach pains or something to let you know. Three sounds very moderate.

If they are beneficial strains, I personally don't think you can take too much. The only thng that limits the amount I take is my wallet.

Honestly, your body needs as many as you can afford, particularly if you are on an aggressive abx therapy. [Big Grin]
