Hi,

I find that if I am too physical, in whatever way, that I become very fatigued and it last a few days.

Does this happen to you?

Share your story please?

Thanks,

well, i went grocery shopping yesterday.

Last nite i couldnt sleep.....and today i am worn out. Its as if yesterday took everything out of me, when i got home i could barely make myself dinner.

Today i cant do anything, i feel sick and weak....i dont know if it is a herx or what.

But yes i cant do very much. Just like when i was at work and had to walk to the bathroom 20 times a day.......worn out.

I hate this roller coaster.....i had days where i felt good, i had hope.....and now forget it...i dont even know where i am.

Well I'm exhausted before I do anything...

but if I do anything the fatigue gets worse....

Like yesturday I went to the bank ....

was gone less than 30 min....

today I slept longer and still had to take a nap....

the only thing I did today was come on lymenet.

But yes doing anything.... even little things makes the fatigue worse for me.

Best wishes [Smile]

ditto for me. I had to take a nap today so I can go to my sister in laws for dinner. I went to infusion center then to Costco yesterday, where I almost abondoned my cart halfway through.

I am so exhausted, the nurse tells me its the abx.
I've never been a "napper", I hate wasting time, or missing out on "my time".

My house is a mess, I can barely do anything.....
I wish someone could tell me when it will get better. There are so many things I planned to do in my life, and I feel I will never be able to do them.

Do you generally get worse? Been on IV Rocephin and 1500 mg Flagyl for 2 months. Before that Doxy & tetra, 3 months. Was keeping steady, now everything is backsliding, everything coming back.

LLMD says my immune system is attacking itself,
and wants to stop the current protocol in 6 weeks....try natural. I don't care, whatever works.

Sorry so long, but in answer to your question, YES (and even without physical activity).

Be Well,
Jill

I have been on Tetra 1500 mg's for over 5 months now...

When I would shovel snow, I was dead for two days..

If I do certain things, I am crucified the next few days...

I want the fatigue to F-ing go away!

Rob,

Sometimes I will have a pretty good day, like even go grocery shopping, do laundry, and vacuum the house. All in one day!! (before lyme this was an easy day)

Now, if I can do all of that in a day, WOW... but I will be dead the next day, falling asleep while playing cards with the girls, I actually fell asleep on the potty, and woke up on the floor!!

I take B-12 shots with glutathione, I give them to myself and it really helps me with the fatigue. Of course, I still can't do some things for hours like you(hehe), but it does help.

Maybe you could try these shots, they hurt but they are worth it.

Rob,

I can't remember if you and I have talked about this, but I'm getting a lot of additional energy from taking IM vitamin B complex.

Just a thought.

RIGHT before this last relapse (11/04) I finished my first sprint triathlon.

I had tingling and a feeling of swelling in my elbow that was familiar--I had this when I had a lyme relapse or reinfection in 2001. BUT I thought it was an athletic injury and after PT and eventual STEROID SHOT [Eek!] I could barely move from the nerve pain. It eventually went to all extremities.

I went from triathlete, excercising 4 times a week/1-2 hours a time, to COUCH POTATO.

I was still able to do some hiking or other things without much fall out until just a month ago. I went for a 30 minute stroll and threw on the wheel(pottery) and I was almost bed ridden for 3 days.

My fatigue is now MUCH worse than it has ever been. Cleaning the bathroom sent me straight to bed with buzzing burning and shaking arms.

this is the pits I tell ya.
