anyone tried propax? It is lipid replacement therapy. Got interested in it from Cave's post about lipids and protozoa.
Many "fatigue" diseases like CFS and FMS (lyme?)have shown significant gains using lipid replacement therpay and there is some limited research done on propax showing good results.

My thoughts:
There appear to be several products on the marked using NT Factor, plus selected ingredients.
I have heard this NT Factor mentioned on lymenet several times, so a search may provide feedback.
The use of phosphitidylcholine etc. has been mentioned before as a combo with the omega's.
Also, some people were using a product by Dr. K (see betterhealthguy.com) which was like that delivery system.

But NT factor proposes a unique patented manufacturing process, according to the website.
My best guess is to compare the product with what you are taking, and find out what results were with the NT Factor folks.

I have had lipid exchange therapy (phosphatidylcholine push) and found it extraordinarily helpful with my CNS symptoms. Unfortunately doc stopped giving it. I have been taking oral phosphatidylcholine, but it doesn't seem to have any marked effect. I would be really curious to hear if the Propax works.

yes it is a bunch of mega foods/vitamins that have been "clinically proven" to restore mitochondria and in studies has improved fatigue for people with CFS and fibro.
so--i am going to order some---stuff is NOT cheap. was wondering who else has used propax with NT factor?
Docjen--I am not sure how similar lipid replacement therapy and lipid exchange therapy are. do you know the differences or similarities?

Trails I took Propax a few months ago and I think it's what got me on my feet again after a massive crash. It contains all the nutrients my doctor advised me to take when some tests showed that my ATP production was very poor but I'd already been taking those supplements as separate products and not getting any better. Maybe the addition of the NT Factor in Propax is what makes it more effective, for me anyway.
No it's not cheap, especially if you take three packs a day as I do, but you won't have to take any other supps. I've just re-started after a break but it would be interesting to have the ATP profile done again and see if my mitochondrial function has recovered at all .....but actually I'd rather spend the money on more Propax.

I am surprised that more lymies are not using this product. I am going to buy some asap. sounds like it might be WORTH the money--many supps are NOT.
