Thank you all for your suggestions.

We have been successfully getting our son to verrrry slowly take his medicine by licking a little bit off a spoon and then washing it down with a drink.

We also tell him he can't go play outside or on the computer until he licks it all up!

It's working! Yea! [lick]

And happily, all the symptoms he was complaining about seem to have disappeared (for now)! [Smile]
