Hi,
I'm new to the list, having been brought here by a strange (though I'm sure, not unusual) series of events...

I am 28 years old, and was misdiagnosed for 14 years. I was diagnosed and started IV treatment last year. After 8 months of IV, my insurance co decided that I was cured -- brilliantly concerned with my wellbeing, obviously.

So, I have been off of ABX for 6 months, and have started to seriously relapse. Severe chest pains, joints made of stone, occasional hallucinations (always good party talk), extreme fatigue -- I sleep 12 hours/night and wake up feeling like I was run over with a mac truck.

Because of the insurance thing, I went to my GP who said that there couldn't possibly be any live spirocetes left in my body (who teaches them this crap) and that I would have to live like this for the rest of my life. Take some Tylenol.

*SERIOUSLY*

How bout you take the tylenol and put it....

Anywho, so I REFUSE to believe that this is the best I can feel like (I felt much better after the ABX), and I need some help and ideas.

I had two...

1. HBO - how does the home system work? The really high pressure chambers freak me out a little.

2. Cat's claw - someone suggested this to me.

And any thoughts about pulse therapy?

And ANYTHING ELSE THAT MIGHT HELP!?!?!?

Thanks a bunch!
Ally

There are alot of choices with lyme treatment...

Alot of people are having great success with herbs, buy the book Healing Lyme.

There are rife machines, oral antibiotics, salt/c, heating the body, many detox therapys, IV hydrogen peroxide, and more...

the book Healing Lyme is written by Buhner, available at amazon.com. You can also search Buhner as a 'subject' here on LymeNet.

Search yahoo's groups as there is a lyme-Buhner group there, with great people & great ideas.

Dear Ally,

Can you pay out of pocket and see a LLMD???

That is what I would do.

Were you treated for possible co-infections?

Sorry you are not doing well.

I know that having to pay your own way when you have health insurance is a crime.

There is no price I wouldn't pay to get my, my husbands, or my children's health back.

Do you still have a copy of your Western Blot?

All health records?

Could you possibly appeal the insurance decision?

Hang in there.

Please find a LLMD asap.

Hugs,

Geneal

Hi Ally,

I offer the HBOT affordably, contact me and I will discuss it with you.

In a nut shell. If you have been relatively well. The HBOT will help you to maintain those gains. If you are chronic then I would suggest a full series (sp) of 40.

If you are still able to function then I would suggest one or two sessions just to maintain your immune system. You will herx too to some degree.

The pressure is 2.4 ATA for lyme. As to the freak part I can tell you that I have been able to talk in to the chamber the worst clostrophobics. However ativan and xanax work too [Wink]

I would take the cats claw as well...

You will need an Rx for the sessions.

Blessings,

Julia
