My immune system is shot. What's the best way to strengthen it?

Kawai,

We have done many years of antibotics and for the last year have been working on the immune system.

The two things our LLMD has told us about is Gaba Complex and Selenium. Myself and 3 children all take this and we have been feeling woderful.

We do have a combination of other aminos we take but i noticed the best improvement with Gaba expecially for the brain fog with the children.

Hope others jump in to give you more opinions.

Probiotics, kefir, anything with lots of resveratrol in it like grapes, peanuts, blueberries.

here's a link on "super foods"

Other than what is mentioned above I like: coconut milk, green teas, clean water & no sugar or alcohol. A also take selenium but in moderation. Aside from these things, trying to keep stress down to a minimum can help too...not always easy to do though.

Once treatment was done for a long time for my lyme & co's, my immune system panals came back to normal range.

Hope this helps [Smile]

Thanks everyone!

I'm on probiotics along with antibiotics, just ordered the Gaba Complex, will try some of the foods, but sleep (although sounds wonderful) is just not happening and runs in our family.

What is Gaba Complex, where do you get it and how often do you use it? Thanks.

I used to eat peanuts with gusto. But was told years ago to avoid them. Lots of info on internet.

Take care.
