Yes early on in my disease....

This would definitely be the CNS/neuro infection symptoms.

I got IV Ceftriaxone for two months followed by one month of clindamycin.

You may need to follow up with cipro orals as well.

Hi djf2005

Other than treatment, a mosit heating pad helps me. But was told by a PT once to not to lay on it more than 20 minuets at a time then take an hour break. This is hard to do cause it feels so good.

Hope this helps & you're feeling better soon [group hug]

I had to take a muscle relaxer for this pain. Flexeril. I started at 5mg a night, and gradually increased up to 30mg a night. I didn't notice a difference until I got to 20mg.

I also did physical therapy with a pt who specialized in myofascial trigger point release. It helped, but not until the Flexeril.

And I do yoga regularly to help keep it under control.

Also, lots of magnesium and water. It's not gone, but it's better than before treatment.

There are also many who say you can't treat Lyme without treating Babs first.

constant stiff neck and upper back here too. Magnesium helpes a bit, but not a lot. It increases though every time I change abx or get tired.

I guess it's just one of those symptoms that probably will resolve with treatment. Hopefully.

sorry I can't be of any help though...
