HI,

I recently started back on ketek. I am having difficulty sleeping again.

Wondering if it is the ketek and if so, when to take it or if it will even make a difference.

I did a search on ketek and noticed that insomnia is one of the symptoms.

Going to try and take it first thing in the am tomorrow to see if that makes a difference.

IN the meantime, wondering if others noticed this and how the solved the issue.

I do have lunesta that I can take if needed and will take after several nights of little sleep.

But, would first like to find a way to sleep without taking the sleeping meds.

Thanks in advance for your help. I just have two weeks of samples so it is not a long term problem at this time.

Hey Miss Katherine,

I was going to mention taking it in the morning as well, but I see you have already thought of that one! [Smile]

Hope it all works out for you soon- we need our zzzzzzzzzzz's!

Much love,
M

Hi Kam

I noticied the insomina too and my skin itched at night for no reason...no hives or anything.

I take it right before bed and have done well, better than in the AM. It makes no sense. I am generally a very good sleeper.

Good luck.

Took the pills early this am. I also thought about taking them before bed.

Had scheduled to have the senior van take me to the grocery store.

Had to cancel. Not doing well.

Not sure if it is due to taking a shower before going to the store or taking the pills or both.

I used up what resources I had in taking the shower and blow drying my hair this am.

Not good.

CAn't recall what I posted earlier and not able to read right now.

But, I am in pain again. I recall last time I started on the ketek pain increased before it decreased.

Wondering if others have had this happen.

Too many variables.

Household help was cut to 3 hours a month.

And I have been trying to walk.

And sleep once again is running a muck.

And no water therapy which i feel helped..at least it was good to feel normal for a short time in the pool.

I guess time will tell.
