Have you been tested or treated any co-infections?
As for neuro lyme, I believe IV rocephin is the drug of choice.

I did IV Rocephin for 8 months-help clear up my brain(thinking) some-but not numbness/tingling stuff.

Diana,
I did IV Rocephen for 6 months immediately followed by LA Bicillin shots in the rear 3 times a week for ten months.
Both cross the blood/brain barrier well.
They greatly helped my neuro/cognitive stuff.
Look for an LLMD (Lyme-literate MD) who is also an ILADS doctor. In addtion they can also look for co-infections--that's very important.
Suggestion: Go to the top of this page, to the left menu. Choose "Support Groups" and call for LLMD suggestions.
Also, go to www.ilads.org, to the left menu, choose "Treatment Guidelines" and that will take you to Br. Burrascano's 33 pages of tips for 2005. Tons of good information.
I wish you the best.

lexapro and roxy is doing something to a what feels like a clump of bugs in my right brain. Its tingling there now, instead of migrain.

did any of your neuro lyme symptoms include rocking (like in a boat) vertigo?

Hi CamB,
Welcome!
Yes, vertigo is a sign of Lyme.
You mentioned rocking like a boat. You might start a new thread so everyone can see "rocking like a boat."
I hope someone will see it--and perhaps respond--who has personal experience.
Also, in your first post to that thread you might mention all your signs and symptoms.

Time was the best healer of my neuro symptoms, which included mild seizures, vertigo, a LOT of numbness, cognitive difficulties, sensory distortion and disorientation.
I've been on oral abx since starting treatment--ceftin for Lyme and Rocephin for Bart (plus artimisinin for Babs).
Also added acupuncture to the mix.
Most of my neuro symptoms are coimpletely gone, a couple are just bothersome now, and I still get periodic numbness in my foot.
But these things took me almost 2 years to reverse.
Hope this helps and I hope you're able to find some relief

CamB - just saw your post. Yes, I definitely had that "rocking like a boat" vertigo/dizziness, especially when I started treatment. When I first started treatment with only Doxy, I got that. I still have it once in a while though. I've also been having room-spinning vertigo which is WORSE than the "rocking like a boat".
But I just wanted to let you know that I have/had this. I'll be sitting perfectly still and feels like I'm rocking/swaying back and forth.
