I have Dr. B's guidelines from 2005, but is there any other document out there that is more current? DD12 was bitten again [Frown] and our LLMD won't do anything unless we actually go to see him [cussing] , which we can't afford to pay for right now. Our GP is very open and would be happy to prescribe whatever I ask for, but without his input I'm flying solo here.

It was attached for, at most, 3 hours and didn't even leave a visible mark once removed. I immediately put her on amoxicillin 1500mg daily (she should be taking more like 2200mg based on her weight, but I figured it was better than nothing). Is amoxi a good choice or would zith be better? Is there another choice better than those two? Thanks for any thoughts or documents you can offer.

I recommend going to:
http://www.wildcondor.com

click on Lyme Links and there's tons of information on Children and Lyme and other helpful links such as:

Oops noticed it's from 2003 but still good info. I hope you find something.

UPDATE: Talked to LLMD - bypassed the difficult woman at the front desk [Razz] - and he has given me the info I need. I knew he would if I could just talk to HIM. We're good to go now. [Smile]
