I have Dr. B's guidelines from 2005, but is there any other document out there that is more current? DD12 was bitten again and our LLMD won't do anything unless we actually go to see him , which we can't afford to pay for right now. Our GP is very open and would be happy to prescribe whatever I ask for, but without his input I'm flying solo here.
It was attached for, at most, 3 hours and didn't even leave a visible mark once removed. I immediately put her on amoxicillin 1500mg daily (she should be taking more like 2200mg based on her weight, but I figured it was better than nothing). Is amoxi a good choice or would zith be better? Is there another choice better than those two? Thanks for any thoughts or documents you can offer.

Oops noticed it's from 2003 but still good info. I hope you find something.

UPDATE: Talked to LLMD - bypassed the difficult woman at the front desk - and he has given me the info I need. I knew he would if I could just talk to HIM. We're good to go now.
